Hey guys a while ago my high beams stopped working. Both passanger and driver. I have a 240sx hatchback 1990. I checked my fuses by the battery still fine. Im sorta new to the 240 group. Can anyone help? Also my gauge cluster isnt showing the blue high beam light when i tap my high beams or when i try to flash my high beam.

The light switch itself needs a clean. It is pretty easy to do, disassemble it, clean the contacts with some sanding paper, assemble it back, job done.

Or you could have munched through your wiring if the car is lowered too much and the wiring has not been relocated, too, but this should also cause other problems and blown fuses.

yes, that one.
You need to remove the plastic covers around the steering wheel to get access. Then unbolt and unplug it, open it, make photos because you are going to need them to reassemble it. Take your time, everything has either a bolt or a clip. The switches are copper bits and get corroded over time, you just need to clean them and assemble it back. I reckon it is a 1 to 2 hour job if you really take your time, half an hour if you have already done something similar.
