j30 diff with abs driveshaft

hey i know this subject has been cover
but i have not find a clear answer

im in the process of installing my j30 diff into s14 but i have a non abs aluminum one piece driveshaft already on my car, which i bought when i had the open diff now question is could i ran the diff with the non abs shaft some people say yes and some say no but i want a clear answer

any help would be great

You need ABS...the vlsd is ABS So it will be longer hence why you need the abs driveshaft (shorter)
