View Full Version : Power fc engine won't start

So basically I had to hardwire my power fc, everything is reading correctly on the sensor monitoring. I have power to everything.
Car starts up, idles for a second, and just dies.
If I try to add gas it just dies quicker
The engine is not on long enough for my wideband to get an accurate reading, and my boost gauge reads -20 vacuum.
Here's my issue I think...
1. I have 740cc injectors but I'm on e85
So idk what to scale my injectors to or my delay.
I read that delay should be -.04 no matter what fuel it was
So I did that and it changed nothing and I've messed with the percentages up and down from 40-70%
Still same thing.
2. my maf wiring could be messed up but I'm not sure. The issue there is that I'm using a stock sr harness and a wiring specialties z32 maf plug.
The wiring off my harness is also kind of weird.
I have a white, black, and purple wire. The purple wire is 12v I checked with a voltmeter. But I've never seen a purple wire for maf before.
But the way it's wired now is using the diagram from an oem z32 plug.
With my ign on and just on monitor my maf reads 0mv-5mv with engine off
This is how my power fc is wired for anyone wanting to know
82771
82769
That's the sensor readings and my air flow reads 0.00v

Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.1

Sorry guys the wiring diagram is hard to see but if you save it to gallery it's easier to see.

What do you mean you "had to hardwire your pfc in"? No ecu plug or what?

Did you select z32 maf in the pfc?

Also try for help and injector calculator http://paulr33.com/powerfc-faq/powerfc-faq.htm

I mean I had to take my engine harness ecu and eccs powers and wire them like how they are in the wiring diagram using a relay, and ign switch to power.
And yes I did but even if I didn't it would still run in a limp mode as the power fc still has a base tune on it.
And I figured it out. I thought my maf and maf wiring was good but it I guess in the process of taking the maf from testing it to my house it went bad haha and then on top of that tuning
But it's good now. Thanks for the reply!

I had to use a stock sr wiring harness and splice in a wiring specialties maf pigtail so that was kind of weird haha

Well atleast it was something simple, I hate wiring gremlins.
