I was wondering what are your personal experiences on the older Bride Ergo and Recaro SRD seats. Im in the market for a new seat and Im having trouble deciding. Ive sat in a SRD before and it was okay(kinda wanted something to hold me a bit more). I havent sat in a Ergo yet so Im debating. The SRD is about 300-400 less.

Anyone happen to know the dementions of the older ergo? Does it hold better than the SRD?

Id really want an older Brix but I cant seem to find one for a decent price w/o paying $100+ for shipping. I was looking into a Zeta III, Sparco Pro, and Sparco EVO as well. Ive sat in the Zeta III before but I forgot the feeling...ugh...I gotta ask my friend again. Anyways....let me know what you guys think!

cant really help with reclinables too much other than that I've sat in the Brix plenty of times, and the BrixII. The BrixII seems to be a little bigger for larger drivers.

As for the ZetaIII, I have a ZetaIII Type L and I love it. Sits super low... way lower than stock and gave me about an extra 2-3" of headroom. Holds really well too. Pretty comfortable, I sat in a Zeta II Neos a while back and it might have been a little more comfortable than the Zeta III... hard to remember.

You'd really have to sit in them...

All the "sporty" Recaros I've sat in (i.e. not just stock old school VW seats, but something aggressive) have fit me PERFECTLY, but they might be too big if you're a small guy. I'm 5'10", 34" waist.

The SRD's bolstering looks a little more aggressive than the Ergo.

i like Recaros. I'm not really sure why, but i just think they're cool.

mrmeph- it's good to see that you're learning some japanese.

I really like the recaro SRD my friend had it in his old g3 integra.

I tried my buddies ErgoII in a 99 Type R yesterday. Doesn't hold me as nice. for some reason it feels sloppy and doens't hold me tight. My shoulder hit both sides so I think it would be uncomfortable for long drives. My butt is not held snuggly but it still manages to squeeze the balls!
I'm 6' 0" 155lbs.

I really wanna try the Brix I and II so I can make a decision as to what seat to buy. I don't want a bucket because I still want to take my car on long drives.

I have a Recaro... Unfortunately, fitting is a bitch. ;) But with the search button, you can find something very useful...

the SRD bolster do look bigger, but the Ergo sits in deeper....
I've gone frmo Recaro SRD to Bride Brix I and i can't go back to SRD's anymore, ahha...but i do remember the Ergo's having more solid support, sits deeper, but less abdomem bolster

6'4" and 150-155lbs. All legs, haha.

I got it from Street Image in Baldwin Park. If you're interested in one, I'll give you a contact.
