yeah...basically i bought this diff off my boy while ago. its a r200 4.1 diff, most likely off a rwd skyline. The diff is a 6 bolt and i also got the axles to go with it.

my question are

-can i use this diff on my s14 chassis?
-what modifications must i do?
-is it worth going through the trouble and time?
-can i swap the guts of the r200 into a stock open 240 open diff pumpkin and use the 240 5 bolt axles with it?
-should i just shut up?

please help a brother out, any info will be appreciated, thanks

so your saying this r200 diff in the pics will bolt right up to my s14 without mods and also i could use the 6 bolt skyline axles with no problem?

Everything should fit. I'm not positive about the back of the diff housing to your subframe, but if it doesn't fit you can swap the one from your s14.

That's great..and did you guys have any issues with installing the stock s14 drive shaft.or are you using custom drive shaft setups.....I'm going to be installing this week

I got the Vlsd from a r33 with no axles. Used an axle from a j30 and an axle from a 300zx. Had no issues in my s14 subframe

Nissan is pretty good about making their drivetrain interchangeable I think the only problem about a drive shaft is with or without ABS? At least on the s13 that is a problem because of overall length is slightly different.

For the most part you have a pretty straight forward swap though.
