A lot of you guys dislike the usdm kouki bumper but I am one of the select few who think they look better than some of the jdm set ups.

I want to have my side marker lights blink in an alternating fashion with the blinkers. Is toss possible?

Yes it's possible with some relays and a little wiring knowledge. I am not familiar with the s14 side markers so if they serve as running lights when the headlights come on that may complicate the process. Do you intend to have the side markers function as normal and the only difference be alternating pattern?

Correct.
For example:
Normal function of the side markers but are wired to alternate flashing with the turn signal when activated.

The side markers are always a solid light when the parking lights and low beams/high beams are on.

I know how to properly strip and solder wires together unlike the previous owner of my car. All I really need help with is what do I wire up together.

You wish to have the lights alternate as: Front turn signal flash, sidemarker flash, front turn signal flash, sidemarker flash?

There is no easy, simple way to accomplish this. You'd need to create a time delay circuit to power the sidemarker a second or two after the front turn signal sees power. These usually consist of a resistor, capacitor, relay, and possibly a transistor as well. I can't you help with the sizing of those components; that's above my knowledge.

Perhaps it would be easier to study and use the electrical components of a different model vehicle which has an alternating flash pattern from the factory.

I would just wire in a separate circuit, to a new dual filament bulb from the actual turn signals. Or else the old wiring for the side markers could get complicated. This would essentially make the side marker full turn signals and hazards. I did this for an s13, sold him the diagram as well. Just in case.

What you want to do to have it alternating is to splice into your positive turn signal wire and use it as the ground for the side marker. And keep the side marker positive the same with your running/parking/drl lights.

But as a note this may give you hyperflash.
