they are good quality stuff. The components look very well made. The only drawback is that they aren't dampening adjustable. We spoke to the owner of apollo and he said he was not planning to make an adjustable version, he can valve them differently according to what the driver wants. This should be going on our next project, so I can provide more info on it. The only s14 to have this (that i know of) was my boss's car, which he sold about a month or 2 ago
I would like to know why you think d2 and kts are crap?

These are actually pretty nice for the street. Note, I'm very picky, i think the buddy clubs and HEs are too rough for the street. These can go as low as HEs i think, dont quote me though. Im trying to remember them close together but it was hard as one car has 15s (appollo) vs 17s(HEs).

"Experienced" them? Did they molest you in any way?
I have them on my '89. They are stiff as fuck and hella nice. It depends on what spring rate you get, but they can either be 2X HE's harshness or a little better than HE's. The components are very well made, I was pretty impressed, and I have used them for a few months now with no complaints. As for the drop, they can drop as low as HE's, I was constantly scratching my shit until I lifted the car. Great value. You buy now.

I have them on my S14 as well! I love them!
Ride is great for daily not to bad, I prefer them over HE's!
12k in the fornt and 10K can't go wrong with that!

Actually I think the dampening units can be replaced, rather than servicing em. the dampening, I was told is set accordingly to the spring rates, getting down to the details, I'm not sure.. Kinda hard for me to communicate, but boss (Jimmy), speaks the manufacturer's language, lol..
Another car that has em is the Grey S13 (sil80) that Pann Auto owns.
They are stiff and ride smooth.. However, the Apollo's highest setting seems to be really low on the s14 (in the rear).
Sorry I have been out of touch, havent been going on zilvia as much.. I'm trying to convince jay (revat619) to switch to these and see how things are, but then again I might have to do the work :-P of switching em, I'm too lazy, haha.

That grey sil80 is charlies car (driver for ctune and founder of justDrift). His car was the one that I was talking about. That car has buddy club coilovers now and the appollo are put onto his red car.
Heres a pic of the red car now with the apollo on them.
