Hey guys so I have a weird electrical issue going on and was seeing if anybody else has ran into this. So I finished my black top sr20det swap and connected power and my reverse lights are stuck on. I've moved shift linkage to see but nothing changed. I was thinking that the reverse switch is bad but when I put the Shifter in reverse with the key out of the ignition. The car turns on. It dosnt start. It just acts like I'm turning the key on. So could all of this be related to the reverse switch ? 1991 240sx coupe. Blacktop sr20det. Any input would be awesome. Thanks

It's kinda hard to diagnose a electrical issue online since I don't know how you wired it in but if I was in your shoes is buy a wiring specialties lower wiring harness and that should fix all your reverse light and starting issues.

^^+1. Whoever did the wiring obviously hasn't a clue. New Wiring Specialties upper/lower harnesses and you'll wish you had just gotten them in the first place.

Alright I appreciate it. I wired it and just connected the Sr lower harness to the factory 240 connectors. But there must be an issue in the harness itself. Possibly shorted wires would be my guess
