Maybe some of you with body work exprience can point me in the right direction..
Ok so when I first got hit... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v72/streetphase/damage3.jpg
Over time, I pulled it out to this..

I know I probably lost that seem line that runs accross the rear. Id hate going widebody flares (i had some before but I dont have plans to go super wide wheels). But I want to know... if I should apply body filler?? Some people said its gonna crack.. Would I sand down this whole area before applying it?
Or do I get the holes welded??
Im sorta scared... cuz I want to get teh fenders rolled before I do this... (yah I dont have the bling bling wheels yet to accompany this..).
Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I've been searching on what to do about the holes...I have to also fill the holes from my spoiler. Bondo needs something to stick to, so over time it would sag and you would see the holes.
Found this on Freshalloy (http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB9&Number=168181&Forum=All_Forums&Words=welding%20spoiler%20holes&Match=And&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=allposts&Main=168173&Search=true#Post168181), seems to be the best idea:
Cut out small circles from galv body metal and cover the holes underneath by using a fuser gun (all body shops have them) its a special epoxy that fuses metals together no welding necessary.
then use fiberglass over the top, covered with bondo. sand to 450-600 grit, prime and paint.
Seems like the way to go. That or welding them.

PLEASE do not go back to whoever did that CRAP to your car.
you need a new quarter panel, simple as that. have a quality shop replace the panel and it'll be brand new. you CAN fix that but it'd cost less to replace it. even if they did fix it it'd never be perfect.
p.s. they should have used a spot welder to attach copper studs that are used to pull out metal then grinded down the bumps. your fender was dead from the get go, though.
Man, you really went to town on that 1/4 panel. Now it's FUBAR. Originally it might have been possible to fix with a slide hammer, hammer/dolly and some free time, but now you're better off getting the whole thing replaced.

id say its just better to get the whole 1/4 replaced less money. and i dont think thats even repairable and if they did itd never be right

Wow austin you fubar'd your car. Time for a new shell. Since the holes are so close together you have weakening the structural integrity of the panel. Its better to cut and weld.

Yea, the wide body look or fender flares are quite gay. However, if you have the money, I'd go on over to wholesalehyperformance.com and check out thier wide body fenders. They are expensive (about $400 a pair), but They are very subtle and clean.
If not, just go to a junkyard and get a newsed rear fender. I think it would be too much work to fill in those holes.

Wrong.
Dont put any body filler or bondo, it WILL crack on you and you will have high spots and low spots and it will look really bad. You should have bought or rented the tool made for it. I forgot what its called but it welds a stud to the car and you slowly pull the stud with a puller and tap around it to get everything straight...Now, if you still want to use body filler, you have to wipe the are with a cleaner and sand it down to the metal.
Your better off going to a shop and having them put in a new 1/4 panel...or just get widebody...

ok i was gonna get a new rear welded on before, i was cutting one out at the junk yard a while back but couldnt get it off completely.. any idea how much it would cost to have a shop put it on?
Im really kicking myself now if you guys are sayin i fudged it up... i guess I screw myself over on this one, not to mention its there in the first place from a hit and run that my insurance didnt want to cover.

hyper- it was screwed from the get go, you just sorta nudgged it off the cliff ;)
go to a shop and have them order a replacement panel. cutting it off another car sounds so counterproductive it ain't funny. it'll cost less to get a new one.
