is it me or do i never hear of anyone posting about getting the hyperflex kits for their cars. people bitch about bushings all day long but why do i hear nothing of this? i wanna go hyperflex and change all that crap but where is the cheapest place to get them for an s13? i seen them on ebay for s14s for like 75$ but s13s cost almost double from what ive seen for prices! only like 4 threads have shown up with a search so a discussion on those wouldnt be bad either...

i just replaced every bushing under my car with energy suspension's stuff. i got em from enjuku and when my car gets roadworthy again i'll post a review (if they haven't been reviewed already). after i did the whole front set i drove around the parking lot and the ride didn't feel "boat like" at all. all the rears are in and tomorrow i'll finish my rear brakes so i can take her around the lot again to feel the dfference.

enjuku was 150ish shipped to me and they got em to me FAST. they're the most worthwhile investment you could possibly make on an old car.

p.s. if you plan on installing them yourself clear few solid days out of your schedule and wear your hardhat cause it ain't no cake walk.

I got the hyperflex from coutesey nissan, like 115$ i think.

I am not done installing them all yet, but so far so good. Some I didnt need because I have aftermarket T/C rods and adjustalbe rear upper control arms.

I hear the steering rack one is a bitch to do, but I did it in 2 seconds when I had no engien in teh car...

yes indeed, the steering rack is a pain but the rear control arms are the real joy... remember these two words:

cutting torch

Front Strut Rod Bushings, Front Control arm bushings, front sway bar bushings, rack and pinion bushings, rear control arm bushings, rear sway bar bushings, and rear sub frame inserts
That's the list from enjuku (in case anyone wanted to know). Questions:
What are strut rod bushings?
sway bar bushings: does that include endlinks? (rear)
do the rear subframe inserts require dropping the subframe?

Thanks is advance!
I've installed one of these kits on a different car before. I used a torch, to soften up the bushing and then push them out. But a lot of them had colllars, so I used a hacksaw to cut a slot and then slide them out. A lot of work but worth it I think. My uncle was kinda nervous about heating up the cast control arms, etc.. :bite:

yes, all sway bar bushings are included.
no, they slide right in.

i used a cutting torch to cut the slit and a vice to press in the bushings. it really helps having another person help (especially with the wheel nuckles).

"strut rod" is what they call the tension rod bushings. don't use them! they'll eventually break your LCAs. use stock, nismo, or pillowball tension rods only.

That's what I was guessing. Planing on replacing them with some pillowball rods soon cuz mine are in bad condition.
I wonder if I can just buy it piece by piece. Cuz there are 2-3 things I won't be using....

And yes another person and a vice is strongly recomended!!!
Thanks again!

i just finished my suspension and brakes this morning... yeah, these bushings are king gear. before if i induced power on oversteer the car would lean to the outside and when braking she'd be unpredictable and anything but smooth. now it feels very much under control and solid.... and i still haven't replaced the blown strut in the front.

ES are golden, we'll see if they screw up my front control arms...
