Hi all,
I'm selling my 1988 Nissan Skyline Autech Version. The car is 1 of 200 ever made by Autech, and it might be the only one in the states. (History of Autech: http://www.autech.co.jp/history/autech/index.html )
Details:
Year: 1988
Make: Nissan
Model: Skyline GTS Autech
Engine: RB20DET-R
Mileage: 135k km's
Power: 240 whp (have dyno graph)
Price: 17,100.00 USD
The car was imported by Import25 and is federally legal. It is currently titled, registered, insured, passed emissions and lives in Arizona. The power windows, locks, mirrors (power adjustable and power folding, in 1988!), lip (again, folds at the touch of a button!), lights, AC (see below), power steering, stereo (aftermarket head unit with AUX plug in and Panasonic Carrozzeria speakers), all work.
Modifications:
3 inch exhaust, with test pipe (Still have catalytic converter for emissions)
Greddy Profec boost controller
JIC Coilovers
Recaro seats with Bride rails
ATC Volanti Sportivi Sprint Steering wheel
Impul shift knob
Impul Dash
Carrozzeria speaker system
HID headlights with HID fogs
Factory Volk wheels
Issues:
-The JIC suspension is on the car is an original part from JIC, however, 3 of the 4 shocks are leaking. I have contacted JIC to try and rebuild but heard no response. The other option is to use S13 coilovers as detailed here: http://wiki.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?title=S13_Suspension_Conversion
-The AC works really well when it's below 100 degrees, however, it cannot keep up if it gets above 100 degrees. This is likely due to the fact that it is the original system and the refrigerant needs to be recharged with R12, or converted to R134A.
The car itself:
The car starts up, runs amazing and is an absolute blast to drive, whether you're getting on it or just cruising around. It is very understated so not a lot of people know what it is. As stated, this is an Autech Version, of which only 200 were ever made, making this more rare than a GTS-R. This received the RB20DET-R, which came with a Garrett turbo, front mount intercooler, external oil cooler, tubular exhaust manifold (sounds completely different than any other RB I've ever heard), and different internals. These engines are rated at 210 PS from the factory, but with an exhaust and a boost controller, this car makes 240 whp at around 11 psi. It definitely has potential to make even more power with a re-tune and more boost.

I'll take pictures of the engine bay soon, but it is pretty much all stock except for an HKS filter.
