hey guys i need some assistance. i'm trying to line up the left old fender and right new fender on my car that will go into paint soon. well, they're from a company called "certi-fit" and don't just bolt up like magic (surprise!). they sort of bow to the outside of the car near the middle of the hood.

so here's what i need: pictures of hood/fender/headlight cover gaps for an S13.

it may seem stupidly anal but i'm trying to get her as close to perfect as humanly possible. yeah, so please humour my retarded need for perfection.

thanx

These were the parts that the body shop was telling me to stay away from. Buy OEM, it will pay for itself in the long run.

if you're trying to adjust the fiberglass fender to line up smoothly. use a heat gun. heat up the material and bend it slowly into shape (you can here the matting crack a little). it takes time, but it works...

well dont you think its a little late for that? if its the center.. why dont you bolt the center in first maybe drill a new hole where you want it to be.. then add like to new bolts about 5 inches out from that and the bolt the rear and front in..

Here's a hint: If you want fenders that will fit for cheap get some used OEM fenders from a junkyard

ok guys, i think he already regrets buying what he did, now stop telling him to buy other shit and help him, dont tell him that he should have bought oem, it doesnt help the situation. i agree on the heatgun idea, i had to do this to some fenders that i had bought, its slow, but helps.
