ive been having an idle of about 1500rpm for the last week and half or so. ive gone down the checklist of things to look for but i want to see if maybe im forgetting something, thats where you guys come in. this is the way things have gone to get me where i am now..

1. got my fuel injectors cleaned with one of those doodads that connect to your fuel line, in preparation for doing a tune up. up to this point i had wobbly (kind of like it feels befre you take off the pair valve). afterwards, my idle was steady but at 1400ish rpm.

2. tuneup, and belt change

3. after i found a leak in my power steering, i decided i may as well look for air leaks to fix my high idle.

4. took everything off from the intake box to the throttle body and looked it over for holes and such. in the end i found i broken hose where the pair valve used to be (at the bottom connecting to the engine). replaceed the hose.

5. ran some carb cleaner through the throttle body for shits and giggles, attempted to fix the leak for my power steering (didnt work, will find out why later).

6. put everythig back together. idle fell down to about 1300rpm.

i still have some other things to look at (the AAC valve, throttle linkage, and O2 sensor) but in order to get to the valve, i i have to take off the intake manifold and i dont want to do that if i dont have to. My O2 sensor seems to be brownish looking on the outside (i dont think that can be good) and i dont think its my throttle linkage as it moves smoothly.

since it happened after i had my injectors cleaned maybe they screwed something up and its not air leaks i should be looking for but fuel problems (yes, no?) you guys have any ideas? BTW this is a stock KA
