Hey guys so I have my s13 that has a 1jz engine in it. The s13 has a 1jz that is powered by a 2jz aristo computer and wiring harness. I've had the car running great for the past two years and recently I pulled all of the chassis wiring including stock fuse boxes and bought an ARC 8000r switch panel. This panel comes with a relay board that's practically idiot proof to where you only have to take one wire and put it to the relay board to power whatever your trying to use.

So I've got the car cranking, the fuel pump is working and what I thought was the way to wire the car to the ignition switch on the panel but the car will not start.

Can one of you wiring gurus give me a step by step guide on how to wire this engine with this computer setup to a switch panel as far as ignition goes.

I'll post in my next post what I have done so far.

Thanks, Nick

So I wired pin 1 and pin 24 on the 40 pin connector to the ignition switch and also pin 2 on connector A on the igniter to the ignition switch. I'll upload a pic of the igniter pinout. Hopefully one of you can help me get this sorted so I can drive on the 4th!

can you confirm why it isnt starting?

Are you getting fuel out of the injectors, is it sparking?

Thank you for your reply.

Yes it is getting fuel. It is not getting spark. I'm just having trouble wiring the ignition to a switch on the panel.

If you look on the Ecu pinout, I have wired pin 1(ignition switch) and pin 31(switched power) and pin 2(ign +) on the igniter to a switched 12v source. I have grounded pin 34, and also supplied pin 33 to a 12v constant power.

Can anyone tell me if that is correct? Or any suggestions on how to wire it?

Popped open the Ecu today and it checked out fine.

So much for idiot proof.

The switch panel is idiot proof, I'm the idiot who can't figure out the correct wires in the ignition system to hook up to the switch board.

Your comment was very helpful btw
