So I got nrg short hub with 2.5 quick release from a private party and I read alot on how to install it with the horn, it was hard for me to understand everything I read about it so I thought I would explain it in my terms here.
First off, I watched a youtube video on the install on an s14 and he said you need a torx 45 with a hollow tip and a 17 mm socket for the nut on the spline. He was WRONG.
Its a torx 50 tamper proof socket and a 19 mm nut on the end of the spline.
You remove stock steering wheel and install the hub as straight as possible, to have a horn, I just bent an old keychain and soldered the horn wire to the keychain which was bent to touch the contact plate on the hub.
I have an s14 zenki se, everyone said it was a brown wire for the horn, but mine was GREEN. I ran that to the keychain to the contact plate, then installed all the wires as instructed with hub and quick release and my horn works perfect.
