Some Nissan delivery truck with a KA20 overseas...
Cut and pasted from another thread going right now:
Nisan Caravan - Apparently has a KA20 and KA24 option.

Ok, I guess I'll throw up the answers I have... The list may not be complete, but these are all that I know of...
US Market:
S13/14 240SX
U11 Stanza
D21 trucks
M11 Axxess
Australia:
N/U12 Pintara Ti and TRX
N/U13 Bluebird SSS (yes, the Aussie top of the line SSS was KA powered :D)
Japan/Europe
E24 Caravan (with the elusive KA20DE)
D22 truck (Frontier's equivalent)
JU30 Bassara
M11 Prairie
U30 Presage
W30 Largo
N30 R'nessa
Most of those are vans... So, I guess the KA shouldn't be called a "truck" engine but a "van" engine instead? :D :p
edit: spelling

Was it used in any of those prior to the 240SX receiving the KA24E in '89???
Just curious...

It first came into use for the '89 model year (S13 and Axxess), but was used in Japan until '01 AFAIK

Are all those KAs the same as ours, I know the truck one has TB Injecton and a diffrent head design in the KA24e, how bout these motors? I know the KA20DE was in that van, are any parts interchangeable with our motors, or even worth interchanging?

Another question.... How different is the KA20 from our KA24? Will the crank swap?

Not sure about all the tech stuff...
But I forgot the one oddball
The ISUZU Como Wagon (yes, a Nissan clone, but Isuzu-badged) with a KA24DE

I used to own a U12 Nissan Stanza with a KA24E. It was my commuter/autocross car with custom Ground Control Advance Design suspension... since no one made coil-over suspension set ups for the Stanza. To think I spent over 4K in performance modifications on that car... :wtc:

Hey, nothing wrong with Stanza's... This was my '90 in '97 (Got it in '96 and dumped it in '97 for an Mk3 GTI, but it served me well :D)

i say we all get ISUZU Como Wagon's from j land and pimp em VIP style out here...rollin in dubz - woopty woop Englewooooood....
Here was my 91 Stanza. My parents had it since it was new... got passed down to me in 98. Garage kept its whole life.
You can check out my Stanza web site at:
http://speeds.streetracing.org/
I did my research and found out that the Stanza has the same front brakes as the 240SX so my next step before I got rid of the car was a 300ZX brake upgrade... but it never happened.
I used to boast I could out run any stock 240SX. We did some runs and it was actually pretty close! Scared the crap out of the Civic guys. ;)
The car was returned to stock and donated. :(
