I just installed an innovate mtxl today quick question I know when I calibrated it. With the o2 oitside of the pipe it will display 22.4 with the car turned off. After driving for some time with the o2 installee I turn off the car and turn the key just to power the gauge it will read 18 or 16:1 again not running just wondering if its normal.


I want to know if its supposed to display 22.4:1 all the time or just when the o2 is out of the pipe....

Just wanna be sure its reading correctly and im not screwing with the afr

Did you follow the calibration procedure in the manual? If your exhaust is full of air (oxygen) then yes it's normal! If you run the engine then turn it off, the gauge should slowly begin to read leaner and leaner.

Yeah I calibrated it like the instructions said.

And yeah basically I would stop the car after running then turn the key on to just power the gauge and it would be richer than 22.4.

But I had just driven the car so I guess it makes sense ill see tomorrow
