The 1cao7 doesn't look authentic. Hopefully you can help me before I might buy something fake.

I'm 95% sure that its a fake. Unless something has changed recently, Takata prints the FIA certification on a green tag (the actual material is green) while the label on the fakes is printed on a white label with the front dyed green. Since you can see white through the tag on yours I'm inclined to say that the harness is a fake. If you could post up pictures of the stitching and back of the camlock it would help as well.
As with certain models of bride seats its best to buy these new from a reputable dealer to ensure that you are getting the real deal. The newer Takata reps are very close to the real deal and its getting hard to tell them apart. Buying used is just asking to get screwed...

Normally I would just say to search as well but most of the how to identify a fake articles and videos that you find on google deal with the older takata reps and not the newer ones which look much closer to the real deal. Although this question would be better posted here http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=297481&page=597

I hope you have a cage and bucket seat to warrant the harness.

I'm not going to need any fia stuff right now anyways. Got a bucket, cage and a harness already. Just Takata is better than he one I have.

Updated with pictures. I'd end up buying them for $150 if they're authentic.

Yeah. They're fine. Even if they're fake, just tell people they're real. I mean, they're seatbelts. You buy them for safety, not scene points.

Looks real. Atleast the buckle portion looks like it.

A blue Cusco cage and a red or black Bride/Recaro bucket seat to be more specific.

It isn't like I just posted without researching. I just would like input from others. I'm going to take a look at it today. When I see it in person and feeling the quality I should be able to tell.

If it functions, yes. My daily doesn't have "legitJDMTytey0madproperswagaliscious" belts. When I used to drag race, I didn't have name brand harnesses. Most people that I know WITHOUT Japanese cars don't have name brand harnesses. Nobody ask if Takatas are real because they're concerned about safety. They ask because Takatas give you scene points. There's a literal SHITTON of harnesses you can buy if you need a 5 point harness. And there's a literal SHITTON of legitimately less expensive harnesses that are race proven. But, if we're going for the "takata or nothing" tagline, cool. Makes no nevermind in the real world.
