Weird Klunking Sound

Whenever my windows are rolled all the way up, and i shut one of my doors or hatch, there is a weird klunk sound that comes from inside the dashboard. It is audiable from inside and outside the car. Anyone have any ideas on what that could be?

i can't remember offhand.. a friend of mine has that sound in his busted-ass 240. i think it's a a/c vent or some such.
