Shuto Kousoku TRIAL series... cool street racing movies??

Anyone seen them? are they entertaining? I dont care if they have a stupid plot, as long as its somewhat cool and entertaining. I do like the oldskool cars that are featureed in them.

i have all them.... the movies are more like advertisments.. for cars that came out back then and products for them.... plots are kinda lame... but if ur just in it for the cars then you'll ike them... i personally like the last one "MAx stage"

I have the third one. It's kind of entertaining. The DVD quality of the one I bought from Japantown is pretty shitty for the price though. ( It may have been a rip.)

These are the pre-Initial D stuff... kinda similar plots but it is pretty silly in live action and bad acting.

They have a whole bunch of these racing movies in Japan.

I've got "Battle King" which is the 180SX vs the Silvia back when the chuki 180SX first came out, and "Over Rev" which is a newer one about a girl who learns to race touge in a MR2 and goes out and beats a evil/bad racer in a Silvia who race people for car parts...

Have a couple. Got 3, 4, 5, & Max. The stories are somewhat corny, and some stuff don't make sense, but it's okay, I guess. A good laugh if watching for the 2nd or 3rd time.

All issues have one point in common. Keiichi Tsuchiya says don't street race!

i watched shouto kousuku trial... that movie was ridiculously bad. keiichi tsuchiya had a cameo appearance in it. for some reason being a 'real racer' meant endlessly drifting a white NSX on the track.

iirc it was made by the artist who did initial D.
