Just bought an 89 240 Coupe SE. I got it for a decent price and it had some suspension work already done on it. Upon closer look it was a 1000 dollar eBay Coilover/Suspension arm package deal. Sooo... that shit needs to go.. I'm looking at two coilovers at the moment. The Endless Zeal or the DG-5. I've been looking around for a bit and the only thing I can find are people saying they're both good. I'm going to be using the car for daily driving and the occasional lap days, drifting can be saved for a missle. For what i'm using the car for, is there a better choice? Or should I just get the one out of the two I can get for cheaper? From the searching I've done I've read that endless has great customer service and turn around times for rebuilds. I can't find anything on that with DG-5. Any advice would be welcome. If you want to flame, that's cool to :drama: . Thanks guys

none of those. Fortune Auto FTW
Don't buy fake parts, especially coilovers. People on this site get really mad if you buy fake/replica parts.

That's why I'm going Zeal or DG5. I just need a little advice on which one to choose for my application before I drop close to 3,000 on coils.

If Endless really has the customer support, I'd go that route. I'd prefer to pay more knowing problems down the road (no pun intended honestly) will get resolved in a timely manner rather than take a stab at a price comparative product that may not have the same support.
In general, anytime service after the sale is better than the other guy, it speaks volumes of their product. Plus, not a lot of dudes running the Endless's.
That said, Athestetics45 in the first comment was pretty spot on...Fortunes are very nice, for the money and their service is the same. Plus US built. Keep that money in our economy (US)

OP, why are you looking to upgrade? What are your driving impressions of the current setup? Is it blown or something?

If you want something similar to DG-5, I would recommend getting Super Sport from Stance suspension, which is very similar. You'll have US warranty and support vs DG-5 (no customer service avail in the USA)

TEIN MonoFlex are like $2,200. Japan built but has US support for over hauls.

I'm probably biased, but I love my MCAs. Fantastic customer service, solid performance, and you can land the Blues at your door for 1600-1800. With your budget I'd probably look at the Reds though.
