I recently bought a 91 240sx manual and it has trouble starting. When i step on the clutch then turn the key it won't start but when i step on clutch and turn the key at the same time, it will start but it takes a few tries. Can you guys help me? Thanks

I'm confused..your supposed to hold the clutch pedal down to start a stick car..the clutch pedal has a sensor on it that onced activated it knows it's not in gear and will start.otherwise it won't start..you can ground that switch out though to rule it out..just unplug the connector on the neutral safety switch and use a paper clip and ground out both terminals and try starting it

Ground out = Jumper the connector
