Im trying to replace my alternator pulley and im having no luck at all. I dont have access to a impact which is what every thread I read says to used. I tried the belt wrench tool and that broke. Does any one know of a way to remove the pulley without a impact>?

Maybe try reinstalling the belt, tighten it pretty hard and use a breaker bar on the nut.then do sudden yanks on it to free it up..you have to shock it and not pull on it gradually if that makes any sense

I used an impact gun to zip it off

I wouldn't really consider that biting the bullet because those electric impact really come in handy when you least expect it lol! Glad you got it off though!
