Saw this on another forum...I take it that this is a very rare 350Z...well the Type E version atleast.

Function over form.....the front bumper and sides are not too bad...the rear is all jacked up.
I still wouldn't mind having that car. :eek3d:

at first glance
but purty after that. still think a car like that should have better stats tho. i mean, that car could have way more than 300 hp. not saying that 300 isnt alot, it just seems too low for a car that has that "speed demon" image

it's 300 because it is modeled after the 300gt class car in the JGTC. There's a 300 hp class and a 500hp class running at the same time, if you didn't know that.

i read about this... designed specifically for JGTC because nissan engineers said the aerodynamics on the 350z were not up to par for JGTC application.
personally i think it looks hot. if you hold it next to a pic of the original 350z, you'll see the front and rear are lengthened considerably. it brings its contour back in line with our old s-chassis cars and the 300zx. much better then the UFO profile it had before.

thanks TurDz, i didnt know that. why not the 500 hp class?? that'd be fun
They looks may take time to get used to but I would drive it.

Sports cars need front overhang + lip that flows. This car's chin sticks out like it got socked.

I saw this by chance in a magazine, I think it was road and track or car and truck. I guess combined, it's been lengthened over 12 more inches, has a huge rear diffuser and I remember it is about 4 inches off of the floor. that's pretty damn low for a production car.
also, I think it's really cool how Nissan went through all the trouble to create a better powered Z with redesigned aerodynamics. ALL just so they could be more competitive in the JGTC. awesome...
it looks OK at beest, better than a stock 350Z but not better than a stock G35 coupe with a stock wing. I think it looks somewhat like a Celica

Reminds me a lot of a 996.
