what's up every body I haven't been able to log in for a while.
any way I just got a bunch of stuff to put on my 95.
I just recently install OBX short shifter and everything was okay but third gear was pretty hard to shift in. Any body ever had this problem or it's common with the shifter. By the way the transmission has 200k miles in it but I'm putting a new one in next week. You think that will have to do anything with the 3rd gear??? Any suggestion will help. :sadwavey: :sadwavey:

I moved back to Gadsden a couple of months ago but I go there every weekend though.
I work in Hoover on Friday and Saturday.

Mine broke in my tranny. I think it's a peice-o-shit!! I installed a B&M and it shifts nicely!!

I like mine. I put the stock shifters plastic thinggy on (that goes in to the gear selector) its bigger and it has a really notchy feel.

I did that too :)
I've never had a prob with mine, it's one of the version2 ones.

it's been 2 years, and still no problems at all..

Dont like mine, it made my syncros go bad in my tranny (could be just coincedence, but i think it was the shifter). its for sale if you want it.

i had the same prob 2 years ago, that shifter is a piece thats why the good ones are 2 to 3 times more

umm.. shifter's don't make synchros go bad. 240's just have crappy synchros. I've been reading about 3rd gear synchro problems ever since I started reading these forums. It has nothing to do with you shifter. The shifter simply amplifies the problem so you notice it more b/c there is more effort required. Put in a B&M, and it will only be worse.
