if i plain on getting the sr20det is the intake set up the same
what im trying to decide wheather or not the move the batery to the other side and get a small intake tube to go in the spot of the once located battery basicy i dont want to waist my time and money on doing this is the sr set up is totaly different

Push comes to shove you can always move the battery to the trunk. I think the setup is similar to my engine, the intake is on the driver's side . Here's my engine (that jumble of wires in the upper left hand corner is my boost controller, the long tube running over the valve cover is my boost gauge line, besides those it's stock) Just to give you an idea, i'm pretty sure the ca and sr engine's are laid out the same.

so do you think that it is worth it ??
i dont want to move the battery in the trunk tho i want it on the other side (drivers side)

Ok i'm getting confused (when I said driver's side i ment the US driver's side) where is the KA intake? anyway if you do a SR swap I'm sure moving the battery would be the least of the problems.

see i plain on doing this before i get the sr and i want to keep the battey under the hood no room in the trunk too much audio and ya this is the US car
i dont think that you get what im saying ??

I've seen only one 240 with an SR swap with the moved battery. This guy did it because he wanted less weight at the very front of the car, I believe. I don't know of anyone else...
