I bring my 240sx in for a simple oil change and they over fill it by 2 quarts. I check the dip stick and it's half an inch over high.
I bring back the car the next week because of a new leaking oil problem caused by the over fill, never leaked before, I ask the one service guy to check my oil level he states it is on the high side, I ask for the service manager and he dosnt come outside tells me to come inside, states he will fix everything next week, I tell him no you will fix now. I leave car and get a call later to come see car. Service manager states there are old leaks on the tranny and rear seal. I tell him never has the car left a puddle of oil on the ground untill now after they over Filled the oil. He proceeds to show me by draining oil out and guess what only 4 quarts come out now and with new oil in the dip stick shows perfect levels. Hmmmmm. You think. I saw the guys lower the car from the lift when I came back and the guy checks the dips stick and moves the car into another lift and lifts car in the air. Sevice manager takes pics. Dah!!!!? And ontop of this I ask the service manager do you always lift cars like this because your bending my pinched seam welds? He states yes... lol I took pics... Idiots...
By the way I have owned over 20 240s including Silvia's, GTIRs, Skylines, and I bought my new z here last year... My 240 is my commuter, untouched OEM 93 240sx coupe 2 nd owner.
Got my oil change trusting a Nissan dealership were I bought my car and it was only $20...
