So did a track day. Car ran completely out of gas whilst drifting. Pushed car to the pits, put in two gallons, won't run. Starts if cranked continuously but just dies without throttle, won't rev, just Boggs, I'm going to pull fuel pump when I get home but would like to hear opinions. I primed it multiple times, kept it running for 15 minutes or so like this to see if it was just air in the lines and nothing helped.

My money would be on the fuel pump.

Fuel pumps use the fuel as lubrication and can overheat and die quickly after being ran dry. If you have fuel in the tank now you should easily be able to hook up a 12v source to it and hear if it runs or not.

the walbro style pumps die as soon as they run dry. The bosch motorsports pumps can be run dry but obviously its not good for them

Most likely fuel pump, best way for sure is to check fuel pressure coming from the pump

Hook up a fuel pressure gauge and make sure it's within spec with and without vacuum to the regulator.dont start the whole parts still it starts stuff when you can do some simple diag first.
