*WeST* Ideas for the site *WeST*

Ok I know west has a life out side of computers and more importantly, this site...but I don't, so here are some Ideas I have for the growing forum/site.
--Make it take more posts to turn a topic in the forum red. With more people joining all the time, it isn't going to take much to get a topic with 17 posts. Maybe make it 30?
--Make it take more posts for people to advance to the next level and/or add more levels otherwise in a year everybody will be Boostaholics, but dont revoke the title people already have. IE: S13grl gets to boostaholic and then you change boostaholic to 1000+ posts and she only has 800 or however many, she still keeps the title.
--put a time limit on editing and deleting posts so people can't say something stupid and then delete it the next day when people start ragging on him (just an example)
--Where it shows how many times a topic has been viewed, if possable, make it so it only counts unique views(either by IP or username). So If I look at a topic a hundred times, it will only count it once.
--fix the two pics on the right the thumbnail dosn't match the pic http://www.zilvia.net/pages/gallery/s15.asp
*shrugs* Just Ideas....Thats all I can think of right now. I would have just sent an e-mail but I thought it would be more productive to put it up here so other people could add stuff.

Not bad, but some of that is written into the software, couldn't be changed. No sense removing the edit feature. If I say something stupid I definitely want to save face and not make (more of) an ass of myself :-)

Tru, like the viewed thing probably can't be changed, but i'm sure some of the other stuff can be. And I would want edit removed either, I use it a lot, just a time limit so someone can't get drunk one night, say something stupid and then take it back after people had already replyed to it, it gets confusing

I've been with this forum since the re-launch. I still remember when we only had less than 10 members. But now with more members, it's become more useful.

Yeah...moderators could be really helpful. &nbsp;With more members, we'll start having more conflicts and probably an occasional arsehole, so maybe we could have a few responsible people that are on the site alot that could help Mark keep these things in check.

I'd add that it would be nice to devote areas to different topics (i.e., Turbo, NA, suspension, audio, appearance, BS, etc.). &nbsp;That way, people would have a resource when they were searching for past help or seeking current help. &nbsp;Plus, this would cut down on post duplication over the same issue area (simply b/c the poster didn't look back three days to when we discussed brand X shocks).

defineatly a chat room. Have you ever noticed when you come in how many other users are logged in? This would probablay be a really active chat room if we had one on this site.
