Hey guys,
I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience raplacing the return hose from the turbo that goes behind the motor. That hose among others decided to go out. I have big hands and I cannot get my hands back there for the life of me. Does anyone know any tricks to get to that hose to make replacing it easier? Any help or suggestions is much appreciate. Thanks.

You can always go with an S14 waterneck and S14 style lines so you avoid that issue in the future. A bit more cash up front but makes maintenance easier down the road, and instead of having a regular hose clamp holding a line on everything would be AN

I had to replace mine this summer. I just managed to wedge my hands in there and get it done with. Pretty small space as you said. You could unbolt the trans from the cross member and jack up on the rear of the transmission a bit. That should give you a little extra room. Just dont go too far, you could risk tearing your motor mounts. You may also need to remove the shifter and the shift boot.

=o I really do appreciate this advise. I'll attempt to jack it from the cross member. Now do you know about how much room I get. All I need really is about 3 inches.

I've done what Tonis56 said about the transmission. Even with fairly small hands, its a PITA to do.

And thanks for that advice as well Prok. Once I get the money I'm going to invest in that.

Haha omg I'm sure it is. Now I can keep the driveshaft on while I do this right? Oh and about how long did that take you? I mean, all I do is take the trans crossmember bolts off and jack up from the back of the trans...thats it? Doesn't sound too difficult lol
