This thread blows. Seriously WTF? No pix or explanation on what is going on. Are we supposed to read your mind on what you want help or opinions on? What does "REAR END BAD" entail???? :picardfp:

That is a tough save. Even your dog is skeptical. :-/

I would look for another S14 shell and swap over your engine and front end, interior etc. That will take patience and money. Or do an S13.4. Good luck.

Looking at that rear end, it's clear that you have frame damage.

The buckle by the C-Pillar is also a clear indication.

Is it fixable? Sure.

Is it worth it? Probably not.

I know this feeling. I got rear ended and my insurance ended up totaling the car because they 'thought' it had structure damage. I ended up getting a chunk of change and got the car back and I had it fully inspected and only minor things needed to be replaced like the lower control arms, got a replacement rear bumper and reinforcement, got the car fully repainted and alignment done too. That accident was like 6 years ago and yeah the title is rebuilt but I still daily it and drives fine, no uneven tire wear or issues at all.

The tough part is gonna be getting the rear end fully aligned if there is structure damage, which that appears there has been. If the rear of the car is out of whack and the front is straight the car will probably feel and drive wrong. Then you gotta worry about tires wearing unevenly also a strain on the differential, drive shaft, tranny. Not saying it can't be fixed but it can be costly and you might end up with issues when after repair. Good luck OP

This car will never be right. I hate to say it but it's beyond repair.

Go buy a DD, then garage the Kouki and strip it and start working on it. Money and time is all that it takes.

Try and bolt that new subframe in place before you go all nuts with bodywork. By the looks of it I think your rails are done for.
