Well my boyfriend and one of his friends are looking to hook up some sort of performance shop. They talked about it for over a year and there are probably ready to get serious with it. But they were talking today about where to get a website they could set-up. Since they are going to do the web thing first I thought if I could find a place for them to get a website that would help put thier asses in gear. Im looking for a place that is reputable and would allow sometype of shopping cart and lots of pictures, and fairly hack free. Plus the cheaper the better.
P.S. it would be import performance stuff. So help me out

to do online ordering and credit card verification, etc., it will likely cost several thousand dollars. you need to include designing, architecture, back-end coding, search-engine submissions, etc. The stuff adds up. If he/you can't do any/all of this yourself, it will really cost you. Plus, online businesses have to be weary of stock levels. I would recommend a bricks-and-mortar store to start, and an online business soon after.
and i haven't even mentioned talking to companies, and getting parts...
sorry if this sounds gloomy, but an online business is a lot of work.

I am all for helping people out...So do a search on
www.hostsearch.com
and find a company that will host your web site and will let you do online selling of products. Most of these places will also help you setup scripts and give you some great online help on how to do stuff. Also do a search on monthly rates about $10 and and 500 mb or higher (but look for a company that is giving you unlimited space.) There are also rating stars on the right to help you out also these rating are by people that are using them or have tried that company out. I hope this helps you out.
Oh also you will have to Register a Domain name to do that you can goto www.netsol.com and see if the name you want to not taken.

You could always start it up on the internet and accept paypal, or personal checks thru the mail, you don't have to jump right into credit card accepting... Most people can use paypal if they really have to, until you get cc accepting together..
