I had a summer job as a temp working for Entergy's Accounts Payable dept. I maintained vendor documents and did alot of paperwork and data entry. Now I'm a full time student. I go to class half the day and spend the other half working on Mass and Energy Balance, Fluid Flow Operations, Physics, and Calculus problems...you can only imagine how fun this is:).....NOT! I get paid to go to school from scholarships, but I've already spent this semester's check on my car . If all goes as planned, I'll be a Chemical Engineer when I graduate in 3yrs. They deal with all kinds of stuff...plastics development, petroleum refinement, chemical production (of course), pulp and paper, environmental conervation and revitalization (which is the area I think I might specialize in), plant design, process design, R&D, and more.

On my way through border patrol headed to Montreal, the booth guy asked myself and my friends what we all did. Maybe you had to be there, but...

Guard: What do you do?
Me: (calmly) I'm a web developer.
Guard: And you, sir?
Rick: (calmly) I'm a network technician.
Guard: And you?
Alexx: (proudly) I work at Diary Queen.

It was great.

Anyway, I'm a web developer, so you should all go http://www.goamerica.net right now and send my boss email about how much you love it! =) Well, maybe I shouldn't give out her email addr just yet. Seriously though, please swing by and look at the site. I contribute very heavily to it's design, so I would love some feedback about it.

Oh, and after you see that we provide wireless internet access to handheld devices, check out http://www.goamerica.net/jeff/wl240sx.gif to see a graphic you'll all love and looks great on tiny b&w lcd screens. =)

hehe...that sounds like the opposite of Mississippi's weather. This is the first year in a long time that we've actually had a noticeable spring and summer. And our winters are like 2 months long....January and February. I remember getting a trampoline for Christmas when I was 5 and me and my brother went outside Christmas morning and played on it IN OUR UNDERWEAR! It was that warm!

All you tech guys keep an eye on Reno. Great weather, actual summers and winters (spring and fall too!!!). Not much rain and a buncha wanna-be-californian riceboys. Then again, there isn't much to do. All us 240sx doods could get together and, uh, tip cows or something. . .

I detailed cars till about a month ago then I got tired of it so I got a job at a lawn and garden store. But, since I live in Wisconsin and the weather is going to suck soon I quit there last week and am now going to work at a Harley Davidson factory. Change is good.
