I'm trying to get my S13 SR on the road and need to pass emission. I'm currently in the process of acquiring a 3" inlet HF cat and a muffler. Can I pass Oregon emissions with a HF cat? I also read that sniffer tests are no longer in effect? Should I get a regular cat and a HF cat for after emissions?

Why don't you try to use the high flow cat and if you don't pass change it to the regular. I passed with mine in MA but on a supercharged maxima.

I need to purchase a HF cat and my cat for the KA was stolen along with the muffler. And at this moment the funds are running a bit low.

Hey K_Style, I appreciate your willingness to help. I passed the DEQ and my baby was back on the road for a week.....Until my ECU fried...Now back to square one.
I know its not the same but I passed in AZ with a test pipe lol

Depends where you are and what kind of high-flow cat you get. If it's just an older s13 where you just have to pass a sniffer in a state other than CA, there's a good chance you'll pass with a HF cat.
