Hello all I know this has nothing to do with Nissan but I just had to share this site with you all. Now if the automakers could make there cars like this.

i have been born and raised on bmw's

my father has had 2 and gave away an old 2002 because he garaged it and some kids beat it up.

i almost bought and 87 325is with a racing computer and did 225kph when i test drove it, fastest i've ever driven, but it had high mileage and was in a bad accident and not repaired fully.

i love most bmw's but i think before i get my m3, and my m3 coupe roadster i will be getting an Audi S4

i read in a Euro car mag that the next gen Audi S4's coming to the states will be tuned like rally cars and will be faster than the ones they get in Europe,

i would imagine it will be about 300hp stock and Audi's AWD, in a sexy sedan.......

you talk about wiping drool from you chin, i'll be reaching for some kleenex for an unrelated mess if i keep thinking about my S4

I'm not rich enough to like BMWs

that's a good point misnomer!! we have a few at my school, bunch of rich kids own them. if anyone of you own then, I'm not saying anything bad. just mommy and daddy bought there's, and they're ownly like 16. then they get in a wreck, and want a 5.0. but AYNWAYS. I like Beamers, they're nice cars. got to ride in a 2001 something, don't remember what model it was. but man it was NICE!!!!! I'd take one.

As a car-lover, I have a certain level of respect for them (as quality-crafted cars). They don't fall into the same category of love that Skylines, Zs, Supras, and WRXs fall into, though... especially not into the one 240s fall into! You guys know what I mean...

Not a big fan of BMWs.. since everyone at school/in this town owns one (or two) and you can't really tell the diff between some models (kinda have to look at the badging)... Besides, they aren't the best in terms of performance for your money.

I also HATE, HATE Mercedes.. all of their cars look the same and are overpriced.

On a side note, a kid at school has an AMG tuned CLK 55... a $100,000 car. That is just not right, esp. if you drive like a granny. I wish my mommy would give me $100,000 to blow on my Z.. I wish we HAD $100k to begin with.

I saw a black BMW850 at my friend's college last weekend. At college. In the student lot, not less. I was disgusted. Please, everyone. Feel my pain.

Jeff, you live in Hackensack? I live like 10 minutes away in Tenafly! One of my good friends lives in Hackensack. He has a black 1990 300ZX with a crack in the windshield.

850's are beautiful cars, they only discontinued them because they had V12's and the cars were too heavy, i downloaded a sweet pic of a dropped red 850, yeow it's it sweet.

i will allow no bmw bashing here!!!!!!!!

I need to scan the pics I took at the Porshce Owners Club event at Phoenix International Raceway, there was a 993 Carrera RS with a sticker on the back pissing on BMW. The guy runs a dealership and this was his fast car. His slow car was a brand new 996 Carrera which he blew the engine of. Even as a Porsche fan I have to say that's a nice looking car.

BMW.. eh. big deal. They're nice cars and all but they just seem too much like luxury cars and i'm not too big on that.

LanceS13
10-09-2001, 08:47 PM
The M3 has the best of both worlds. It's a luxury car...but it's a sports car, too. And on top of that, it looks #### good. Plus I believe there's a supercharger that will give even more umph to an already strong (333hp) powerplant. The M5, M Roadster, and M Coupe are nice, too.

the company racing dynamics, they have a site under the name, does crazy versions of almost every BMW imaginable, they are associated with bmw directly and you can factory order their modifications, internal amd external ones, and have them on your car before you get it

i belive they can take most noramlly aspirated bmw's up to 450+ hp, but that probably includes their supercharger, they do the 850, Z8, M5, and all the others too, BMW has a bigger after market than nissan does as well, you'd be suprised at all the stuff and sites you can check.

they also made these BMW movies, i saw one directed by Guy Ritchie, it has Madonna in it too.

you can view them at www.bmw.com

Nice, very nice structure...Some cars go to far, and work with the front of the car and leaves the rear of the car looking somewhat not good looking...But if I won the lotto, Im for sure getting a car like that and a diablo.

i'm with lance, bmw is a very nice blend of luxury and performance. I used to be a valet, and i got to drive alot of them. (then i got into my 91 dodge to drive home ).
A bmw is no replacement for a pure sports car, but they make one helluva daily driver.

They all look the same. But that one doesnt. Thats gorgeous. I just like to see them with fat tastey wheels and a meaner look. You do see them about and i have to say when they are huge and fat and mean and tinted but still classy with an M3 or M5 on the back i do stir a little. And thats ironic cos its usually them and everyone else stirring at my SX. I`ve only had it a few months and eveybody in everything stirs at it.

everyone says cars look the same when they dont really like them,

people ask me if my car is a prelude (90 black 240sx coupe)

umm... sorry no im not gay!

once again BMW's and most german cars, #### almost all european cars ( except british ones) are amazing.

once i accumulate enough wealth i wont have to buy japanese cars,

Audi, BMW, Porsche, Bentley, Ferrari, Lambourgini, Rover, VW, and the list goes on and on,

if you can get your hands on the magazine entitled

CAR

you will get a taste of what European cars really have to offer,

the very best cars in the world you cant even get pictures of in North America

TVR, Alfa Romeo, Lotus, etc.

in the back of the CAR mag, they rate every single car available in Europe, they absolutley laugh at the cadillac, trans am, corvette, saying "at least they are are cheap".

japanese cars get respect because they are very good, but european cars are where its at

just stay away from z3's. i had one for a month, and i've never felt less safe. also, fake leather seats, and zero trunk. ladies loved it, but the car was crap. stay with the 3 seies at least

what do you think about the z-3 (m-3) hatch???

LanceS13
10-10-2001, 05:53 PM
I think those little M Roadsters are pretty cool looking...even if they do look a little weird. It's more practical and looks safer than the M Roadsters (Z3), but still manages to look sporty.

my240likenoother
10-10-2001, 06:07 PM
they r faster that the z-3

LanceS13
10-10-2001, 06:23 PM
They should have the same engine...but I guess w/o the drop top apparatus, the Coupe is lighter.

bing
10-10-2001, 09:38 PM
the z3's are actually not that fast, and like someone said earlier, they are not very safe, they have the same rear suspension as the E36 chasis which is a little outdated by BMW standards,

the M coupes i believe have 280 hp, but i could be a few off, who can concentrate on bmw when they are driving a 240sx.

the CAR mag i mentioned earlier also agrees that the z3, is the weak link in the bmw line up

LanceS13
10-10-2001, 09:49 PM
Well, considering even the M Roadsters have 125hp more than a 240, I think I can concentrate on BMW. Who needs a Z3 anyway...I want my M3. Gimme, gimme.....NOW!

i've converted one!!!!!!!!!1

one day i will have a fleet of cars, porsche 996 turbo,
M3 and an M3 roadster, Audi S4, Ferrari (any)
skyline gtr, Rx7, and a 240sx done up like nothin else,

i wont drive most of them, i'll just park them on the front lawn so people can see them

LanceS13
10-10-2001, 10:33 PM
nah...didn't convert me...I've been an M3 freak for years.
One day I plan to have...
-an M3 as the family car that could
-I can't decide between the M Roadster and the S2000 for my 'Sunday afternoon drives' car
-and my 240SX will be my autox/classic 180SX replicar...well classic in 10 more years.:)

i'm a huge BMW freak, i had a 93 325is before my 240sx and some drunk bastard creamed it one night when it when parked on the side of the street in front of my house. straight six, silky smooth, fast as ####, i loved that car

10-11-2001, 09:10 AM
i dont know if i mentioned earlier but i have almost bought bmw's on 2 occasions, but my budget, while allowing the initial purchase, would allow little else,

the s2000 may be a great honda, and a good all round car,

but as for a sunday driver... porsche 996 turbo carrera
                                            ...all thew way...

yeah an M3 is in my future as well

My dad has a BMW 850Ci. I raced him in my 98' S14 and dusted him about 10 car lengths. Thats because it was parked and I was the only one racing.

I love BMWs. I really like the 330Ci. Pretty fat, F A T.

I would much rather have a viper or a corvette neday instead of a bimmer..... not enough show or go for me.

10-15-2001, 01:37 AM
the M3 performs just as well as the viper and vette if not better with reliability to boot,... viper.... vette..... value goes down like the second u take if off the lot... my choice would be M3 hands down
