s13 SOHC Cluster to s14 Cluster swap

Hey guys. I've spent the last 16 hours of my life searching around Zilvia and Google with narrowed searches and broad searches but I've only been lead to dead ends on this subject.

I have an 89 SOHC Ka24e 240sx s13

I swapped my dash to the Blue/Green S14 Dash, and I don't want to keep the SOHC cluster I have. I don't think it looks right.

I know it's been covered on here and other places but I just can't seem to find it. I apologize if my thread is just old news, but I'd like some real help from people who have accomplished this before.

What I really want to know is;

Do I need to re-pin my old harness to DOHC s14?
Is there an aftermarket harness for this adaptation?
is there a write up I missed somewhere?
is it even possible?

Thanks lol I wish there was a write up. Maybe I'll have to do one...I'd like to hear from someone who has accomplished this though, unless you have victme :D

Since you seem to be looking for a step by step here is about as good as your going to get.

1. Get both a sohc harness and s14 harness
2. Get the FSM for both cars
3. Look at the wiring diagrams
4. Label the wires
5. Combine the harness'
6. Install
7. Repeat step 3 if it doesn't work

Has this been conversion been done before, probably. Is there a writeup for exactly what your looking for, not likely. What your looking to do is fairly uncommon so I doubt you'll run into anyone on here who has done it before. Even if you did, its unlikely that they remember or wrote down exactly what they did to make it work. Best bet is to just jump into it and report back with what you did so the next person isn't in your shoes and has something to go off of.
