The check engine light on my friends car wont turn on and the obd2 port doesnt work. Can't pass inspection if the CEL doesn't illuminate when the key is turned to ACC. Ive never really messed with obd2 cars so I dont really know where to begin lol. Any input would be appreciated.

i think the consult port above the fuse box on driver's side near clutch pedal may work? may only work if it was wired up to work. i don't think any s chassis sr20s work with obd2.
sell 96, buy 95. :D

bump...
I'm the friend, lol. Basically, I'm in a bit of a pickle. The CEL doesn't illuminate (not the bulb...some issue with wiring) and the car won't sync with the scanner since the car is OBD2 and well, SR's aren't. From what I've been told, there is also a "new" NC law that states if the car won't sync then they can't even inspect it. Therefore, I can't even really "fail" inspection.
We'll see how this goes...
