i have a s13 sr20det with a bottom mount gt2871r and a Z32 MAF, in an s13 body, i want a hard intake pipe and my apexi wouldn't fit, it hit the reservoir that is mounted on the fender, i think its for tranny fuild, so what hard pipe would fit?

Yea that tranny fluid reservoir is an issue for all s13s

I relocated my trans fluid reservoir and went that route.

i relocated my manual transmission reservoir to the passenger side, next to the windshield wiper motor. just had to run a couple new lines to the tranny. but i had a T25 KA-t, with identical intake setup like your running. not sure how much of a difference there is between the two engines, but i ran into the same problem

should i just get some new hose and relocate it then? is that the easiest thing to do?

yeah, super easy.. just make sure you get hose that can handle transmission fluid.. some hoses will leak very quickly.

I removed the reservoir from where its located but the pipe still hits where the hose mounts to the compressor wheel, what pipe do you guys run?

I've never seen manual tranny fluid reservoir outside tranny in my life. Do You guys know what you are talking about?. I just use 3" pipe and hose for the intake for my gt2871r

What is the size of your compressor intake?

I actually think it is power steering, it is the little tank on the driver side shock mount, I can get the stock rubber intake to fit but I want a hard intake pipe because I have the z32 MAF now

I believe it is 2.5 inch

Do you have the compressor housing with the bolt on inlet pipe? If you are trying to use an intake pipe designed for an S13, it won't work without clocking plates. You can force the rubber boot into place without using clocking plates, won't be perfect though.

Yeah it is the bolt on inlet pipe, so I just need clocking plates?

I ordered a tight radius 90* from vibrant and it works pretty well

Is this what happens on Zilvia these days? Haha
We use an Apexi super suction kit on one of our builds. Are you running clocking plate adapters such as these DIF ones.

^ I have the DIF adapters, and the APEX'i super suction kit, (tube, couplings, and filter).
Really easy this way

Easy, and a great combination of parts!
