I just finished my rebuild and ran into an oil leak on the exhaust side of the motor. Unless only one spot of my upper pan gasket is leaking, I'm sure it's the oil feed banjo bolt that's leaking. Looking at it now, how many copper washers should be on there? Mines only has one on the outside.

^ That's how it sits now. Am I missing one on the inside? I hate these things.

If your going to fix the leak, might as well put some -AN fitting on there and forget about leaks.

The stock banjo bolt is actually 100% the best possible fitting to have in that area on an SR20. I have seen too many cases of -AN fittings strip that area because the threads are not machined exactly the same.

I can however agree that a banjo bolt using -AN set of lines would be good. Such as the DIF Forged.

Agree that it should be Banjo Bolt > Copper Washer >> Turbo Line >> Washer >> Block
