View Full Version : News on Zilvia.net and My Future in 240's
I just wanted to let everyone know about what was happening with the site and everything since I plan to sell my 240.
The site will never go down. Don't worry, I will always be on it and still build the site since your all the coolest people on the net. I am looking for Moderator's for the site since I cant handle the demand these days and with the new forum being released soon this Forum is going to really take off. I have a few people in mind for Moderators but I need them to know how to manage the forum and the members, etc. So if you think you have lots of experience and can maintain the site well then drop me an email.
Tranceiant is working on the ASP Pages that will allow us to post and maintain the rides section for your own car. So you will be able to list your mods and post pics and just about anything you want. Kind of like how I have my rides page laid out.
And then here is my plan.
Sell the Turbo 240SX <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>
Buy a 93 Jeep Wrangler for cheap so I can afford a house and get around in the winter.
Next year I should have my MCSE, and CCNA and a few other certs by then, so I'll be Bling Blingin and itl be about time to buy a 2002/2003 Lexus IS300 <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
Its either a 300ZX or a IS300. I would like a Z, but Insurance wont like it much until im 25.

well hey man, it all sounds good to me. other than you selling your 240, but since you say you'll stick around, I'm all about it. an IS300 would be mad cool. but whenever you decide on what you're buying and when you're selling, let all of us know.

Sorry to see an enthusiast go... sniff... sniff. Just make sure your baby gets a good home. I totally understand the motivation though. I was seriously thinking about getting a late 90s M3 - but instead got an s14! Gotta save up a downpayment for a house and a $350/mo car payment wouldn't help. Good luck - and I assume we will still see you around.
BTW: I nominate Lance (susp) and BlueSix (appearance).

west.... i am game for your moderator.........
i think i was probably one of the first ppl and i always post here and try to be nice to everyone
i think that is good that u make a news page
i was wondering could you make some type of form that allows other members to make a list of their future plans and expectation date? and allow them to check off each thing they do... i know i have a board at home i write down my list and then check off as i go along........
ofcourse again, time i the key here.... i think i could do it but i dont have time and i think i need to look up the codes needed to do this

I second drifterx - also knows his stuff.
I would volunteer, but once I get busy here at work, I will have to be out of town for as much as 2 months at a time and working 18 hour days (attorney by trade) - posting will be hard, let alone actually being responsible <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>
