Have some spare time on my hands, and feel like polishing the lips on my meshies. They are a dull alum color right now, what's the best steps to take to polish them? Just go low grit paper then work my way up to alum polish, or is there a better way?

i would like to know also, mothers mag and aluminum polish works good to brighten up wheels that have been taken care of, but it does nothing to my wheels with that dull look to them.

if your wheels aren't too bad rough wool then fine wool then very fine sandpaper then mothers works great. i used wool because i HATE sandpaper.

400, 600, 800, 1000, then mothers alum polish.
depending upon the size of the lip, should take about 2 hrs a wheels.
