So I can't seem to find a straight answer so I need some help, what are my tie rod options for increased angle? I will be installing modded knuckles and extended LCAs at the same time, can I just put maxima outers on stock inners? Or what would give me best angle, for a good price.

Tie rod ends don't make more angle.

Tie rod ends don't make more angle.

They do when you are running extended lowers.modified knuckles. You'll run out of tierod before you even hit bumpstops.

Feel free to believe that. I guess you also consider bigger injectors and MAFs as power adders ?

Well of corse they are as long as you have a way to tune it, if you can add more fuel and air to an engine it adds power... Bigger injectors and mafs allow more boost which if I'm not mistaken does add power...
Anyway that's what I was asking if I use maxima outers or inners, If the overall length of the tierod assembly is longer why does it matter if you got the length from the inners or the outers

Wait did you just answer your own question? If you already know you can use maxima tie rods why not use them?

Personally I'm not aware of any beefier tie rods other than the s14 ones I ran on my last car and I believe the z32 rods are a bit bigger.

No, they are supporting mods. They don't add any power. Anything that increase VE (intercooler, headwork, cams, headers and manifold) and displacement (real like more bore / course, or artificial like the boost from super/turbo chargers) adds power. Anything that does not ... well, does not add power.

19yo from Florida explains a lot anyway... Time to lose that attitude and learn kiddo.

But you are right on your last sentence, it does not matter wether the length comes from inner or outer (and it still does not add angle). Try getting outers with bump steer correction though, it will drive better (once set correctly)

Im using parts shop max inner tie rods and tien outer tie rods for the s14. the Max inner tie rods are a larger diameter and extedened also have the spacer built into the threads to the rack.
the tien outer tie rods fit perfectly on them. and all you have to use is the s14 boots.
no complaints yet with my modded lca and knuckles.
inners were about 80$
outers 75$
hope this helps
