I did a compression test on my SR. everything was going good until the last cylinder. When i unscrewed the hose the hose came but the valve and extension did not.
No socket will fit on it. If i have to pull the head I am going to be livid.
has anyone had this problem? I rented the tool from autozone. Could they be held liable for any of this for carrying shitty tools?

Parts store compression testers suck. I had the same thing happen to me. Just use some long needle nose pliers to reach inside turn it slowly.

hscalixto has the right idea if you can fit the needle nose inside, and I doubt they can be held liable for having a tool break.

Put a spark plug in there and turn till you here crushing then turn it back out. Lmao that's how I took my tester fitting when it got stuck and I didn't notice. Nut lock it if you must...there are some ways to get it out.

well i was able to get it out. I took an 18 and tapped it over the round valve. That grabbed and unthreaded but the extension still stayed in the head. I put some red loctite on a spark plug and threaded it into the extension and that id the trick.
thanks guys

Ha! Nice, sometimes you need a combo-breaker! :)
