do some research, call your local performance car shop, they like to sell things like that.  I find if you show and interest to buy, they'll bend over backwards.

steering wheels are illigel and the fine is mightly large if they catch you.  thats because the s14's and i think all s13's had airbags and when you put the new steering wheel you obbiously get rid of the airbag and thats tampering with a safety equipment.  my friend got alot of shit for his.

minime686 is right bout removing an airbag if u got one....federal law...BUT i dont know what a cop can do IF they even notice it. if u do be VERY careful removing as they can deploy if knocked/bumped. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY (as they are electrically charged) and u should be ok.
what year is  your car?? both momo and grant make hub kit for 89-93....meaning they dont have airbag from factory...??? those kits will USUALLY fit the later cars with airbags.
i'll be putting my momo hub & wheel on in a week or two...car is still at paint shop....post again if u dont hear back from me by then! yes i'm removing my BAG!!

Momo doesn't make a hub adapter for the S14, but they do for S13. however, the S13 adapter will work on the S14, but the &quot;AIR BAG&quot; light will be flashing and you lose your horn. thats what I did on my 98. &nbsp; Some japanese companies make the special hub adapter for air bag S14, and there's a thing plug in to the steering wheel harness, you don't get the AIR BAG light, and you keep the horn. &nbsp;but this adapter costs about $150 from japan, when Momo costs only 40 bucks, #### i got the Momo one. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I think this is pretty nice to do a steering wheel like the race car drivers to and snap it in and out plus its a good way no one will steal your car...The radio is something else

Nissan makes a good steering wheel, there pretty cheap too, I got quoted the price of one, I think the grand total came out to FREE. j/k

Anyway I don't think any cop would notice that your steering wheel is removable and if they did would they really care or know that it is illegal?
