I am thinking of getting 18 by 8 wheels. Does anyone have this size on their 240? And if so, how does it ride?

I know west had 18" but I'm not sure if they're 8's or not.
The ride will be a little ruffer (less tire), but you can always compensate with the suspension(especially if you have adjustable coil-overs )

I have 18x8 5Zigen Heidfelds they are dope ass rims even though I replaced them.

They are mounted with 235/40/18's which are too big so I need to recalibrate the speedo to match them, but it looks real good, just needed a wider tire for all my power I was putting down.

As for handeling, well.... if I were on some real tires and not the shitty Dunlops W10's I could tell you, but I did have my 17's on for a day and it kicked ass in handeling. I just dont like 18's because a nice tires costs like 300$ a tire.

Mark-
How much did your Dunlops cost? How much will tires cost compared to 17s?

Does anyone have pix of someone with 17s?

I've got 17inch Konig Monsoons. I run Dunlop W-10 205/40ZR17 s. Good tire, not wide enough tho and there is like no sidewall. It looks like I wrapped rubberbands around my rims

do you want it for looks or for performance? if its for looks, go 18x8. but remember, big/wide wheels are heavier so perf. drawbacks.

I`ve got 18-8`Mak spirit mate. Couldn`t stand that BOING! feeling when turning hard in my standards. I need a rock hard suspension now too but at least the BOING`s gone.
