it's too bad they stopped making the 17x9 +27 4-lug. i don't think that size lasted even a year. i actually had a set on order and just found out they never actually ordered them. now i have to decide if i want to get the +35 and run a bigger spacer or just get something else.

I don't know, with that wide of a rim you want an offset that will keep it from sticking out, but then again too much and its gonna hit the brakes/rear suspension/whatever

You should be fine, I am running 18x9 with +38 ofset my self with out any problem. Of course I have a 5lug conversion.
I have 17x8 +35 Front and 17x9 +35 Rear. Your best bet is get 17x8 +27 Front and 17x9 +35 for s13's that dont want to fork out the cash to get wide fenders.
17x8 +35 up front will not clear coilovers. Plus depending on your tire setup they might not clear your shocks. I had 235/45/17's and they rubbed just a bit on my Apexi TMax shocks. Now I have 225/35/17 and I guess they would not rub, but I never tested it. I will be getting a 8mm spacer so my setup will clear my coilovers to effectively make my offet +27. I'm not sure if I will have to roll my fenders or not. I'm pretty sure that 17x9 up front on a s13 will not work no matter the offset, it might if you ran some SERIOUSLY crazy tire setup.
Out back 17x9 seems to be perfect, as long as you run lots of negative camber. I put mine on with 255/40/17 and they stuck out almost a full inch and rubbed the fenders, but I also have some whack positive camber. Once I get my alignment after I get my coilvoers im sure they will tuck in perfectly with my 245/40/17's. Although they may require me to roll my fenders.

ok so if i put the 17x9's on, what tire size do you think will fit with no rubbing
Front or Rear? Like I said it will probly be imposible to run a 17x9 up front. Even if you did, you want to to run a 215 tire? If its up front, why the hell you need a 17x9 up there anyways?

Dousan is running 17x9 +15 w/215's all around. He's also running some negative camber but not sure how much. I guess 215's on a 9" wide rim might be crazy for some...

i have 17*9 +15 245-40-17 front with charge speed +20mm wide fenders, and in the rear 17*9 +15 255-40-17 and rolled with a baseball bat, fits but the roll looks like shit but my car's pass side rear qtr is dented so bad i dont care, and the rest of the car is trash so i ll get wide rear on the next one.

+35 should fit if you roll your fender lip with a 235-or 245 tire for the rear.
