Selling my 2007 Ducati 1098. I don't get a chance to ride much with my work schedule and I would like for it to go to a good home.
This bike has been maintained and owned by a mechanic. It has had all services done including the 7,500 mile service.

The 1098 is by far the best bike I have ever owned. It draws attention everywhere and the amount of torque it generates makes for a very fun, wheelie whenever you want experience. It has been tastefully modified with the following items:
Marchesini forged magnesium wheels (not the S model forged aluminum) that cost $4,600.00
Galfer Wave front 2 piece brake rotors $640.00
EBC sintered front brake pads $97.20
EBC sintered rear brake pads $34.99
Sato racing rearsets $635.00
Suspension fully tuned by Catalyst for a 175lb rider $125.00
14 tooth front sprocket conversion $40.00
Tinted Zero Gravity windscreen $80.00
Vortex machined aluminum adjustable levers anodized red $300.00
Both passenger seat and solo seat included
Ducati Performance rear sprocket $85.00
Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tires (almost new) $480.00
Barnett racing clutch (less than 200 miles) $300.00
Barnett racing clutch springs $45.00
Barnett billet lightweight clutch basket $350.00
There are also thousands of dollars worth of extras included with this bike. I intended to start doing track days and never had the time. My buddy used to race a 1098 in AFM and he sold me the following parts from his race bike. I have not installed these parts yet.
Termignoni Full system with CARBON FIBER mufflers $3,400.00
Termignoni Spare CARBON FIBER mufflers with baffles $1,200.00
Nichols adjustable billet triple clamps $1,000.00
3 Surflex Slipper clutch systems $3,600.00
Power Commander 3 usb $349.00
Power Commander quick shifter system $280.00
Rapid Bike 3 Stand alone computer system $580.00
Rapid Bike 3 quick shifter $229.00
Ducati DSG quick shifter system $349.00
EBC brake pads (brand new front set) $97.20
Spare 1098 radiator $200.00
Billet quick change rear sprocket carrier $228.00
Billet quick change sprockets (various sizes, some new) $200.00
Multiple front sprockets (some new) $150.00
Various gaskets, O-rings, ect.
Stock rearsets included
Pit bull front and rear stands are included $400
There is also other parts included, but I can't think of everything right now.
Bike is in great condition. It handles like a dream with the magnesium wheels/ wave rotors, and the power delivery is amazing. I replaced the clutch and shift fork spring about 200 miles ago, and everything on the bike works great! There is a tiny scratch on the front fender which only I would notice, and there is another on the swingarm from where the stock rearset rubbed on it once when it got loose during a ride. Overall a very clean if not exceptional example of the iconic 1098.
Clean california title. Currently registered.
I have the pinkslip and a bill of sale in hand. Come ride it home today!
$11,500 OBO Will consider a trade for a commuter car or a newer turbo diesel truck with cash on my end.
No test ride without cash in hand and previous riding experience. I will not sell this bike to someone who does not have multiple years of riding experience. I don't want to see it get crashed.
Thanks.
