Well, i've been searching and searching, and it looks like I might sink REALLY low. There's a Suzuki Samurai that I'm going to look at sometime soon. Unfortunately, the jeep and gmc jimmy that were my first choices are both gone.

Find some auctions in your area, you can find alot of decent cars at really cheap prices. There's lots of dealers at them, but they tend to only go for the nicer looking vehicles. You could find an old beat up truck or suv for really cheap.
Just a suggestion.

I am in the Arizona desert, not much need for me either, unless I want to visit my parents or brother. I drove my 240 in the snow once last year, the car likes driving sideways a little too much.

Exactly!!! They actually used to be quite popular back in Yugoslavia. People used to drive them on only two wheels, diagonally, it was hillarious!

Found my beater! 1986 Toyota Tercel 4WD Wagon. I'm going to go check it out on sunday. Hopefully it's all that I think it is.... The engine's been rebuilt, new clutch, and a lot of other stuff. It was a truckers car, so it's been well taken care of. Only problem that I know of so far is the color. It's blue. Blech!
This will be great though. It's gonna be wierd having room for more than 1 other person in the car, hehe. Plus room for snowboards!

I bought an 88 300z from ariz when I was there this summer. I'll sell it after the winter too. Just check local auctions etc.

Well, I just put down a 100 dollar deposit on a car made almost completely of bondo, lol. It runs well though, and it's got brand new tires, so i figure what the heck.
