Hey everyone new on this site, proud s13 owner. Recently got my first 240sx with a red lock sr20det in it. I'm having trouble with it, my battery is good. When I insert my key and try and turn over my car all I get is a click and then dead. Only sometimes will it crank over most of the time it won't. Today my dad tried moving my car and now there is no sign of power at all even with key in ignition

Well current is of importance...especially for starting a vehicle.
But since you have a multimeter and the expertise to use it. Start tracing from the battery and see where the power stops.

It's because of the relocation. The starter is not getting enough amperage. Two things that it could be , you either need thicker gauge power wire or
You need a better ground on the battery and/or more grounds from the engine to chassis.

^^^ THIS!!! or you need a battery with more cold cranking amps. most folks have no clue when it comes to this! if your CCA rating is below the cars rating, you will have problems turning your engine over and it will basically kill the battery.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR your ignition switch (the part you put your key into) is taking a shit... which is very common with S13s.

You start at the battery.
Then check the voltage up front and see if it's still good(the big wire that comes from the trunk)
I'm with this guy^^^check the ground. Sounds like somehing simple. Love how people get these old ass cars with janky swaps and wonder why shit goes wrong.
