View Full Version : Where is the best place to look for an S13 for cheap?
I really need a manual transmition 240 sx, the S13 years. Most of the ones I see on recycler, autotrader, thepartstrader... all have way to many miles on them. They have 100k and up, most are around 150k. Do you guys think that is too many? I want a black fastback model, can anyone give me some help? Thanks!

if you plan to keep the engine, then 150K is a lot. post a wanted ad at 240sx.org

i would keep checking autotrader, i checked that thing like 5 times a day for like 3 weeks, then i was the first one to call on the first good deal i saw. make sure u look at the ones that might be like 200 miles away 2, cuz those ppl could meet u half way n 240's r kinda rare so it would help out ur results.

HOw long do you expect a car to drive? I've taken two cars #### near 300k (and still going), and I expect my 240 to pull in at leat 200k. That engine is by no means weak. 150k miles is a lot for any car, over half the typical lifespan, but for $1500-$2000, it's right where it should be.
